⚡️Our first UK gig is confirmed for @noisilyfestival this summer! Super excited to be sharing the same stage as two long standing legends of the alternative UK music scene – GONG: the legendary psychedelic space rock collective formed in 1969 (!) and ambient house pioneers The Orb @theorblive who are still going strong since the late 80s.
The festival takes place deep in the forest of the English countryside, cannot wait for this one! More UK dates to be confirmed 👀
Now on Spotify and most other streaming platforms!

Boxes to Mars
3 track single ‘Boxes to Mars’ out now across all platforms, link in bio Be sure to check out the remixes by band members Jose Jünemann and Pat Demarcq.
Freak out your Gods Mix by @patdemarcq
is an experimental electronic take on the single with some choppy percussion and a touch of 90s rave influence.
Juan Noseke (aka @julles__june ) remix is a dance floor oriented hypnotic slow techno jaunt with acid bass lines and spaced out ambient vocals
Here is our first completely improvised album release – The Tower, studio sessions volume 2 (!)
Improvisation has always been at the core of what we do, it’s part of the way in which we compose and play live. We’ve decided to release and share some of our sonic meanderings along the way– here is the first of possibly many of our archives, released exclusively on Bandcamp.
Featuring 5 long tracks that capture some of our extended and experimental moments, also some of the more ambient / tribal and hypnotic side of Echoes in Smoke…
Completely home recorded LIVE one afternoon in our beloved basement space – engineered, mixed and mastered by band member and producer Jose Jünemann
Live at Upload
Live performance at UPLOAD last summer 2021. This was a magical night for us, the first gig since this mad situation changed the world as we know it….and it was soooo good to be back!
We felt pretty blessed to experience this after having gigs taken away from us for so long. We were almost expecting another cancellation but by chance, this weekend fell in that tiny window of time where things slightly opened up in the midst of it all, allowing us to sell more tickets last minute and get people dancing for the first time since lockdown in 2020..
Made the best out of some pretty grainy footage shot in low light, captures that vibe pretty well though – thanks to Julien Camarroque for the video once again 😉
The second track from debut EP Paint the Void, a new video for an older song!
Recorded and shot almost 2 years ago in April 2019…
LIVE in Quarantine
As our launch party was inevitably cancelled (along with the rest of 2020!), we took the opportunity of living communally with a bunch of talented and inspired people to stage the gig in our own home – Thus ‘Vurt Music’ was born.
Vurt Music is an offshoot of the collective Vurt Studios based in the same space. The plan is to offer the same kind of live sessions to bands, stay tuned for more.
You can also check out the video here on YouTube for full set list and to view individual tracks…
Paint the Void EP
This is the debut release from EIS and recorded entirely in the same house where the band was formed. Making use of an old wooden sauna in the basement as a booth for vocals and guitars Recorded and mixed by the band’s drummer Jose Jünemann.
Paint the Void contains 4 tracks created through improvised experimentation – a mix of playful melodies with a dark twist over groovy psychedelia, surf guitars, electronic soundscapes and jazz punk drums…
Blood Moon Sessions
Improvised live jam from the hills of Barcelona. Recorded over the long hot summer nights of the Blood Moon weekend. Pretty minimal vibe on this, just drums and guitar…a sprinkling of synthesizer in places 😉
